Montane sent over a couple of items of running apparel for us try out and it was perfect timing. The spring transition to summer can be a bit hit and miss in the Uk and this year temperatures have not been that high. Thankfully the Montane Dart T-Shirt came in a long sleeve and the Dragon Twin Skin Shorts provided an extra element of warmth.

The Dart Long Sleeve t-shirt is a classic, all-season, all-mountain tech t-shirt. Soft and with POLYGIENE® permanent odour control, the Dart series balances warmth, wicking and breathability.
Described as relaxed close fitting it is flatteringly fitted, not skin hugging. The lightweight material provides warmth in the arms without being too hot as the day warms up.

Montane Men’s Dragon Twin Skin Shorts £60.00
The Dragon Twin Skin Shorts feature a close fitting CARVICO under short with a lightweight, loose overshort. The technical feature set is designed for trail and endurance running alike.
Designed for mountain trail running the Dragon Twin Skins are a great fitting pair of shorts. The two side pockets can hold gels and the rear zipped pocket will hold a decent sized smart phone or keys etc snuggly and securely.

The long sleeved T-shirt is great value for money and feels very nice whilst running. The shorts never felt overly hot but did offer a little extra protection should you gain suitable altitude.
Well made, and both garments have washed well and can be recommended.
