Kendal Mint Co Natural NRG Superfood Bar

Natural energy from a combination of Oats. Honey, dried fruits and super-seeds. The Natural NRG: Wholesome Superfood Bar from Kendal Mint Co promises a perfect all-round snack. Does it deliver?

We recently featured the Kendal Mint Co traditional mint bars on our sister website TRI247.com here.

Each 70 gram bar is made from Honey, Oats; Dried Fruits such as Apricots, Cranberries & Goji Berries; and Superseeds which include Pumpkin & Linseeds. The Superfood bar is also a good source of protein, approx 5.5g per bar.

The Natural NRG bars make a delicious alternative to gels or jelly babies for in ride/run nutrition and have a pleasingly unprocessed taste and texture.

Kendal Mint Co also include dark chocolate chunks and cinnamon for added tastiness. The pocket sized bars provide an easy to chew source of energy, and break off into bite sized pieces , keeping it’s construction without breaking into small crumbs. this means you can take a bite and keep the rest for later without ending up with a pocket full of broken bar.

Nutritionally the bars contain (per 100g) 444kcal, 8g of protein, 57g of carbs and 36g of sugars.

A multi box of six bars comes in a handy letterbox sized package for hassle free deliveries. Priced at £9.99 they are a palatable price and moorishly delicious. Definitely worth a try.
