Become an ULTRA LONDONER!

ULTRA LONDON will return to the capital on Saturday 31 July 2021.  After a successful inaugural event in 2019, the event was cancelled in 2020 as a result of Covid-19. We featured the previous event HERE.

The returning event brings an urban running adventure to the capital’s doorstep, with participants challenged to complete the 27.5k or the 55k ultra distance.  With two distances and generous cut off times, the events are accessible to all, whether seasoned ultra-runners, walkers seeking a challenge, or first timers looking to push their limits.

Ultra London 2021

The fully waymarked event follows the Capital Ring, a relatively unknown but spectacular 78-mile public footpath around London.  The surprisingly green and picturesque route promises participants a chance to explore London’s iconic scenery on a mix of hidden trails, footpaths, parks, disused railway lines and woodland around the capital.

Challengers taking on the LONDON 27.5 distance will start in Crystal Palace and finish in Richmond upon Thames, exploring the South West of London through amazing venues such as Wimbledon Common, Richmond Park and Richmond Green.

The ULTRA LONDON 55 distance will see competitors complete the entire southern section of the Capital Ring, starting at the Woolwich Foot Tunnel and crossing through nine beautiful London Boroughs before crossing the finish line in Richmond upon Thames.

Entries are now open and for a limited time only are available at a special launch price.  For more information or to become an ULTRA LONDONER, visit their website HERE.
