Innovation through data

The addition of LimeLight Sports Technologies underlines LimeLight Sports Group’s commitment to innovation and reinforces the part that data, personalisation and technological development play in enhancing the service provided to LimeLight’s clients, partners and participants. Both virtually, and in real life, through its two other divisions; the agency and LimeLight Sports Club.

Steve Dews has led technology and innovation teams within the agency for a number of years. His appointment to CTO and the launch of the standalone division marks a shift in the Group’s strategy and business proposition. The launch of a number of new technology led products and collaborations will be announced in the next few weeks.

Understanding data

Steve said: “Whilst as a business LimeLight has always embraced technology, I am very proud to have this opportunity to place digital right at the heart of the Group’s strategy. We understand the importance of the individual participant to our industry and to our business and the value that can be harnessed through an engaged relationship with those individuals, creating loyal and supportive communities. With our understanding of data and our track record for technological innovation, we have an opportunity to add significant value to our participants’ lives, at scale, whilst delivering unique creative insight for our clients and partners.”

Group CEO, Craig Dews added “The hiatus in live events created by the pandemic over the last 12 months has provided us with a unique opportunity to re-structure and transform our business, ready to capitalise on a future full of exciting potential. Digital technology will be the key driver of our growth in the short, medium and long term”.
