It was the Bath Half yesterday, one of the longest-running half marathons in the country. Chris Thompson took the men’s title, just a week after winning the Big Half, and Kate Reed won the women’s race.
It was the Vitality Big Half yesterday and 13,353 runners took to the streets of London in windy conditions. Sir Mo Farah and Charlotte Purdue made it back-to-back victories in the elite race and David Weir and Margriet van den Broek won the wheelchair race.
This weekend sees a major running event in London – The Vitality Big Half. This event, which returns for its second year, takes in many of the sites of the London Marathon, but you only have to run half as far!
