Saucony teams up with GoodGym

Updated on

Saucony teams up with GoodGym as part of an initial two-year partnership as part of its Run For Good community initiative.

The partnership will see Saucony become the exclusive running footwear and apparel partner for GoodGym. They will boost the organisation’s charitable work by creating content to illustrate GoodGym’s endeavours as well as supporting the company’s quest to increase the number of towns and cities they are involved in. Through their highly experienced range of coaching and athlete ambassadors from across the running community, Saucony will also provide product and performance training advice to the GoodGym Area Activators.

GoodGym

Formed in 2008, GoodGym is a community of runners that combine getting fit with doing good. During GoodGym activities, runners stop off on their runs to do physical tasks for community organisations and to support the isolated older generation with social visits and one-off tasks they can’t do on their own.

The GoodGym charitable initiatives include group runs, missions and coach runs. The partnership strengthens Saucony’s Run for Good initiative, encouraging runners to go beyond exercising for personal gains.  Check out the GoodGym website to see what’s going on near you here.

We feel that the organisation’s desire to do good through exercise offers the perfect synergy with our RunForGood ethos. We cannot wait to start working together and to support their vital charity initiatives.”

Ivo Gormley, CEO, GoodGym said:

“We’re extremely excited to announce our new partnership with Saucony. Saucony want to make the world a better place through the transformative power of running and this is what we’re about too. Together, we can enable more people to experience the powerful positive impact of running and of doing good for those around you. We’re looking forward to working closely with them over the coming years.”
