Competitors hoping to race the 2024 Winter Spine Race will have to wait a little while longer after the race website experienced some technical difficulties during the launch.

The 2023 Spine Race, which took place in January, was won by Damian Hall and Claire Bannwarth, and is widely considered one of the toughest endurance events on the planet.

Updates on entry re-opening to follow

In a statement from Spine HQ, the race team announced that those who managed to get through and enter any of the races will have their entries honoured, with everyone else to be given a fair chance to get a slot when the entry portal re-opens.
