A record-breaking adventurer and mental health activist is returning with another epic attempt to support mental health after the COVID-19 lockdown. To run the National Three Peaks Challenge in under 9 days.
From 10am tomorrow, Thursday 30 April, former British Army captain and now professional ultrarunner Tom Evans will attempt a world first and complete the famous three peaks challenge on a treadmill from his home in Loughborough.
Originally scheduled for June and July 2020, having taken on board all the advice from the UK Government, the World Health Organisation and others, the very tough decision has been made to postpone all of the events to 2021.
The Peak District Challenge 2020 is an individual or team, walking or running event. It takes place on the night of Friday 18 September and the day of Saturday 19 September 2020, starting in Hathersage, Hope Valley.
