The Running Bee Foundation has teamed up with British running brand RonHill Sports

Published on

The Running Bee Foundation has proudly teamed up with pioneering British running brand RonHill Sports as the official designers and producers of their brand-new merchandise.

Profits from all sales will go directly to support communities where The Running Bee Foundation’s events take place including Knowsley, Tameside, Preston and Salford, to help support community health and wellbeing activities and initiatives that focus on reducing childhood obesity.

The Running Bee Foundation’s most recent project saw 3000 children in Tameside put on their trainers and complete the Dr Ron Hill 7 mile challenge by teaming with Tameside School Sports Partnership.

The collaboration with RonHill Sports comes as a celebration of running heritage; marking their 50th year and the great achievements of Running Bee ambassador Dr Ron Hill MBE, one of the most iconic names in the running world.

Now, RonHill Sports brings their lineage and experience in the world of sportswear to The Running Bee with our very first line of official merchandise.

The range, which utilizes the high-quality look and feel of all RonHill products includes:

  • The Running Bee Official team wear technical short sleeve t-shirt in white or blue.
  • The official team running Bee vest – or ‘Dr Ron’, as we like to call it!
  • The long sleeve shirt in blue with ½ zip.
  • And finally, the Tour Of Tameside Retro T-Shirt – with exclusive 1981 original styling as designed by RonHill Sports, in homage to the original week-long tour founded by their namesake.

All profits from the merchandise sales will be going back to the communities we support, to ensure people #BeeActiveBeeHealthyBeeHappy.

Chris Bird, founder and trustee of The Running Bee said:

‘We’re delighted to have RonHill Sports on board as the official designers & producers of our brand new Running Bee merchandise. Their experience in creating top-quality sports apparel is world-renowned and we can’t think of anybody better to help Running Bee clothing become a reality.

‘As we celebrate the 50th year of RonHill Sports and the outstanding achievements of our ambassador, we are proud to launch The Official Teamwear of The Running Bee Foundation.
